Prime Video Sets ‘Harlem’ Season 3 Premiere Date – Get a First Look at Who’s Joining Them This Season

Prime Video has officially announced that Harlem will return for its highly anticipated third season on January 23. The series, created by Tracy Oliver (Girls Trip), continues to explore the lives of four close friends navigating love, careers, and self-discovery in Harlem, New York—a neighborhood celebrated as a cornerstone of Black culture. Season three will premiere in over 240 countries and territories, showcasing new and returning characters as they journey through transformative life moments.

The ensemble cast—featuring Meagan Good as Camille, Grace Byers as Quinn, Shoniqua Shandai as Angie, Jerrie Johnson as Tye, and Tyler Lepley as Ian—returns, with fresh storylines that delve deeper into each character’s growth and challenges. Joining the OCs (original cast) of the series are Kofi Siriboe (Queen Sugar), Logan Browning (Dear White People), Robin Givens (Riverdale), and Gail Bean (Snowfall) join the series in recurring roles.

Season two left audiences on a cliffhanger, with the core four at critical crossroads in their personal and professional lives. Camille struggled to rebuild her career and relationships, while Tye sought meaningful connections amidst a contentious divorce. Quinn aimed for stability amidst life’s ups and downs, and Angie searched for her path, trying to break into a challenging industry. Season three will continue to explore their journey as they balance ambition, relationships, and friendship with each woman choosing to prioritize herself, facing new chapters in motherhood, singlehood, sisterhood, and complex career paths.

Siriboe will play Seth, a charming MLB player who catches the eye of one of the lead characters. Browning steps into the role of Portia, a striking figure from Ian’s past, whose return to Harlem adds complexity to his storyline. Givens will portray Jacqueline, the pragmatic mother of newcomer Eva, played by Bean, a driven venture capitalist with ties to Tye.

Season three’s episodes will be directed by Stacey Muhammad, who also joins as a co-executive producer, as well as Shea Vanderpoort and Tasha Smith. Production comes from Amazon MGM Studios and Universal Television in association with Paper Kite Productions, with Oliver at the helm as creator, writer, and executive producer. Executive producers also include Paper Kite’s Amy Poehler (Russian Doll) and Kim Lessing (Moxie), as well as Dave Becky (True Story) from 3 Arts, and Grammy-winning producer Pharrell Williams (Hidden Figures) with Mimi Valdés (Roxanne Roxanne) from i am OTHER.

Harlem season three is set to continue its exploration of love, identity, and ambition in the vibrant backdrop of one of New York’s most iconic neighborhoods.
