Amazon Prime Video’s acclaimed comedy series Harlem will conclude with its upcoming third season, as confirmed in the first trailer released by the streaming platform. The new season, which premieres on January 23, marks the final chapter for the show that has followed four friends navigating life, love, and career in New York’s iconic Harlem neighborhood.
The trailer reveals plenty of drama and fresh challenges for the core four women: Camille (Meagan Good), Quinn (Grace Byers), Angie (Shoniqua Shandai), and Tye (Jerrie Johnson). Ian (Tyler Lepley) has officially moved on from Camille, seen in a new relationship with Portia (Logan Browning). Tye embarks on a budding romance with Eve (Gail Bean), Angie prepares for a Broadway debut, and Quinn’s career and potential romance with Seth (Kofi Siriboe) show signs of promise. However, one major mystery looms—who among them is expecting?
The season promises to explore themes of personal transformation, including motherhood, singlehood, and career ambitions, as the women prioritize themselves in ways they never have before.
Robin Givens will also make an appearance this season.
Debuting in 2021, Harlem quickly became a fan favorite for its sharp writing and rich cultural backdrop. While its ending may come as a surprise, the final season aims to deliver an impactful farewell to the characters and their journeys.
“As we prepare to say goodbye to this incredible series, we’re both grateful for the journey Tracy has taken us on and excited for our global customers to experience a final season that truly honors these characters,” said Vernon Sanders, head of television, Amazon MGM Studios. “This chapter may be coming to a close, but the series will continue to resonate for years to come.”
“I’m beyond grateful to the whole team at Amazon for giving me the chance of a lifetime to tell these four Black women’s stories and shoot it in the city I love: Harlem. It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m honored to see the impact it’s made in the culture, as well as the impact it’s had on all of us who’ve been blessed to work on it.” said Tracy Oliver, creator, writer and Executive Producer for Harlem. “A huge thank you to everyone who’s watched the show. I’m excited to finally share our best season yet.”
Season 3 will be available in over 240 countries and territories, continuing to spotlight Harlem’s vibrant energy and its characters’ evolving lives. Don’t miss the final chapter when it premieres on January 23, exclusively on Prime Video.
