reacher season 3 trailer

Prime Video has released the official trailer for Reacher season 3, giving audiences a deeper look into the high-stakes action awaiting Jack Reacher when the series returns on February 20. The eight-episode season, based on Lee Child’s seventh novel Persuader, will debut with the first three episodes, followed by weekly releases every Thursday through March 27 in over 240 countries and territories.

Alan Ritchson returns as the formidable Jack Reacher, a retired military police officer who finds himself entangled in yet another dangerous mission. This season sees Reacher infiltrating a criminal organization to rescue an undercover DEA informant whose life hangs in the balance. Along the way, he faces a figure from his past, raising the stakes in his personal and professional battles.

The trailer opens with Reacher, in classic form, displaying his unmatched strength and tactical expertise. From explosive action sequences to intense confrontations, the preview highlights his undercover work within a rug import business—a front for a larger, more sinister operation. Reacher’s journey leads him to face Paulie, played by weightlifter Olivier Richters, a physically imposing opponent who challenges Reacher’s dominance.

Reprising her role as Frances Neagley, Maria Sten joins Ritchson in the new season alongside an expanded cast, including Anthony Michael Hall, Sonya Cassidy, Brian Tee, Johnny Berchtold, and Olivier Richters. The series also introduces new dynamics and threats, with Anthony Michael Hall’s Zachary Beck, the owner of the suspicious rug import business, recruiting Reacher for his own agenda.

Notably, the trailer teases a climactic encounter between Reacher and Paulie, showcasing their rivalry in a tense arm-wrestling match. The accompanying soundtrack, Kansas’ “Carry On My Wayward Son,” adds a powerful backdrop to the action-packed scenes.

Reacher continues to be a standout success for Prime Video, with the second season breaking viewership records upon its release. The series’ popularity has already secured a fourth season, slated to begin filming in 2025. Additionally, a spinoff centered on Frances Neagley is in development, further expanding the Reacher universe.

The action drama is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Skydance Television, and CBS Studios, with Emmy-nominated writer Nick Santora serving as showrunner and executive producer. Santora is joined by Alan Ritchson, Lee Child, Don Granger, Scott Sullivan, Mick Betancourt, and Skydance’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell in the production team.
