HBO’s “Industry” Returns with High-Stakes Drama in Season Three [TRAILER]

HBO has released the official teaser trailer for the much-anticipated third season of its original drama series “Industry,” set to premiere on Sunday, August 11 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. This season continues to explore the high-pressure world of international finance, providing an insider’s view of young bankers navigating the intense environment at Pierpoint & Co’s London office.

Created by Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, “Industry” delves deep into the competitive and often ruthless nature of high finance. The upcoming season shifts focus to ethical investing. Yasmin (Marisa Abela), Robert (Harry Lawtey), and Eric (Ken Leung) lead the initial public offering (IPO) of Lumi, a green-tech energy company helmed by Sir Henry Muck, portrayed by “Game of Thrones” star Kit Harington. This storyline intertwines the spheres of finance, media, and government, adding layers of complexity to the plot.

Meanwhile, Harper (Myha’la) is eager to re-enter the exhilarating world of finance after her departure from Pierpoint. She partners with Petra Koenig (Sarah Goldberg), a portfolio manager at FutureDawn, setting up an exciting new alliance.

“Industry” is produced by Bad Wolf for HBO/BBC, with executive producers Jane Tranter, Kate Crowther, and Ryan Rasmussen for Bad Wolf, and Rebecca Ferguson for BBC. This season’s directors include creators Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, along with Isabella Eklöf and Zoé Wittock.
