STARZ has announced that its crime drama “Hightown” will air its third and final season starting on Friday, January 26, 2024. The show follows Jackie Quiñones, played by Monica Raymund, as she deals with addiction and navigates the world of drugs and crime.
Accompanying the announcement, STARZ released a teaser for the upcoming season. The third season promises a reckoning for all characters involved, testing their beliefs and loyalties. Jackie will face challenges, and redemption seems unlikely.
Returning for the final season are familiar faces, including Monica Raymund, James Badge Dale, Riley Voelkel, Amaury Nolasco, Atkins Estimond, and Dohn Norwood.
Additionally, Imani Lewis, Mark Boone Junior, Mike Pniewski, Ana Nogueira, Taja V. Simpson, Michael Drayer, Garret Dillahunt, and Jeanine Serralles will join in recurring or guest roles.
In the concluding season, viewers can expect Fishery Service Agent Jackie Quiñones to pursue a mission, despite being off the wagon and off the force. Her investigation involves the dark underbelly of Cape Cod, dealing with a missing woman and a murdered sex worker. Simultaneously, her former colleagues focus on dismantling drug syndicates, leading to the entrance of Shane Frawley, a Boston gangster.
The final season will premiere on Friday, January 26, 2024, at midnight ET on the STARZ app and all STARZ streaming platforms. Linear viewers can watch it on STARZ at 9 PM ET/PT in the U.S and Canada. Subsequent episodes will be available for streaming weekly on Fridays at midnight on STARZ platforms, with linear airing following suit.
“Hightown” is created and executive produced by Rebecca Cutter, with executive producers Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman, KristieAnne Reed, Ellen H. Schwartz, Gary Lennon, and Tim Walsh. The series is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer Television and Lionsgate Television for STARZ.
