The Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2027 has been announced, and it is a stacked one. Walk of Famers Ming-Na Wen and Sheila E. joined Hollywood Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Ron Frierson on Thursday to reveal the 32 honorees who will receive stars across the categories of motion pictures, television, recording, live theatre and performance, sports entertainment and radio.
Among the highlights, Keke Palmer, Pedro Pascal, Raven-Symoné, David Alan Grier and Lisa Kudrow will be honored in the television category. Idris Elba, Delroy Lindo, Sam Rockwell, Kate Hudson and Cheech and Chong will receive stars in motion pictures. Elle Fanning and Dakota Fanning will make history as the first sister duo to receive a double star ceremony. Country music legend Waylon Jennings, who died in 2002, will receive a posthumous star in the recording category alongside Lil Wayne, Grandmaster Flash, Linkin Park, The Ramones, Sia, The Smashing Pumpkins, Karol G, David Guetta and Marc Shaiman. Charlamagne tha God will be honored in the radio category, while Nicole Scherzinger and Jo Koy will receive stars in live theatre and performance.
“This class continues the proud legacy of the Walk of Fame,” Frierson said. “This year’s honorees reflect the breadth, diversity and imagination of the entertainment community: performers whose voices moved us, storytellers who expanded our view of the world, visionaries who brought unforgettable characters to life and trailblazers whose influence will be felt for generations to come.”
