the industry first look season 3

HBO’s “Industry” is making a high-risk, high-reward return with its third season, premiering on Sunday, August 11. This eight-episode season continues to delve into the high-octane world of international finance, providing an insider’s view of the young bankers navigating the intense environment at Pierpoint & Co’s London office.

Created by Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, “Industry” captures the cutthroat nature of high finance. Season three introduces a new narrative arc where Pierpoint takes a significant gamble on ethical investing. Yasmin (Marisa Abela), Robert (Harry Lawtey), and Eric (Ken Leung) are at the forefront of this shift, spearheading the IPO of Lumi, a green-tech energy company led by Henry Muck, played by “Game of Thrones” alum Kit Harington. This storyline promises to explore the intersections of finance, media, and government.

Meanwhile, Harper (Myha’la) is eager to dive back into the financial world’s adrenaline rush after her departure from Pierpoint. She teams up with Petra Koenig (Sarah Goldberg), a portfolio manager at FutureDawn, setting the stage for an intriguing new partnership.

The returning cast includes Conor MacNeill, Sagar Radia, Indy Lewis, Adam Levy, Sarah Parish, Trevor White, Elena Saurel, and Irfan Shamji. Alongside Harington and Goldberg, new faces this season include Miriam Petche as Sweetpea Golightly, Andrew Cavill as Lord Norton, Roger Barclay as Otto Mostyn, Fady Elsayed as Ali El Mansour, and Fiona Button as Denise Oldroyd.

“Industry” is a Bad Wolf Production for HBO/BBC, executive produced by Jane Tranter, Kate Crowther, and Ryan Rasmussen for Bad Wolf, with Rebecca Ferguson for BBC. In addition to creators Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, who direct two episodes this season, the directing team includes Isabella Eklöf and Zoé Wittock.

“Industry” Season 3 is set to premiere on HBO and will be available for streaming on Max starting August 11 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Fans can expect a continuation of the intense, dramatic storytelling that has made “Industry” a standout series.
