Peacock’s upcoming comedy series, “Laid,” is beefing up its cast with some familiar faces. Joining the guest star lineup are Indya Moore from “Pose” fame and Ettore “Big E” Ewen, a WWE Superstar. Alongside them, the ensemble includes eight guest stars: Andre Hyland from “Barry,” Olivia Holt of “Totally Killer” fame, David Denman known for his role in “The Office,” Finneas O’Connell, a Grammy-winning singer/songwriter, Chloe Fineman from SNL, and John Early, best known for “Would it Kill You to Laugh.”
“Laid,” spearheaded by executive producer Stephanie Hsu also stars previously cast Zosia Mamet, Michael Angarano, and Tommy Martinez.
The series revolves around a woman who discovers her former flames are meeting bizarre demises, prompting her to revisit her romantic history to confront her past and move forward. Described as a twisted romantic comedy, it offers a blunt answer to the question of why finding love seems elusive: the problem lies within oneself.
Penned and executive produced by Nahnatchka Khan and Sally Bradford McKenna, with additional executive producers including John Davis, John Fox, Jennifer Carreras, Marieke Hardy, Kirsty Fisher, and Liz Watts, “Laid” is a collaboration between Universal Television and various production houses. It draws inspiration from the Australian series of the same name.
Represented by a diverse array of agencies and management firms, the cast members bring their unique talents to the table, promising an exciting and dynamic viewing experience.
