In a significant move to support diverse content creators, Issa Rae’s newly established branded content company, Ensemble, has announced a partnership with Spanish-language media powerhouse TelevisaUnivision. This collaboration aims to create more opportunities for Hispanic creators by leveraging the resources and reach of both organizations.

Ensemble will be working closely with Así Studios, TelevisaUnivision’s in-house brand studio, to connect Hispanic creators with brands, offering them access to production facilities and essential skills training. This initiative will enable creators to integrate their content across TelevisaUnivision’s vast array of intellectual properties, spanning music, sports, and entertainment. By doing so, the partnership aims to deliver authentic, culturally rich content while helping brands expand their reach.

The launch of this collaboration comes just a month after Issa Rae, alongside media industry veterans Ian Schafer and Matt Berger, unveiled Ensemble. The company’s mission is to foster deeper, more genuine connections between diverse creators and brands. Schafer, Ensemble’s president, emphasized the importance of partnering with like-minded organizations to provide more opportunities for underrepresented communities in the creator economy.

“This powerful partnership will empower Ensemble’s market-leading Hispanic creators through TelevisaUnivision’s unmatched portfolio of IP and experiences,” Schafer stated. He highlighted that the collaboration would not only enhance engagement with brands but also provide practical pathways for the next generation of Hispanic content creators to emerge and thrive.

TelevisaUnivision’s executive vice president and chief growth officer, Dan Riess, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership. He noted the ongoing need to ensure Hispanic creators have equal opportunities and resources to succeed. “We’ve built robust capabilities through Así Creators to meet the needs of brands in connecting them with authentic voices in the Latino community, but there’s always more work to be done,” Riess said. He added that Ensemble is an ideal partner to further this mission, helping Hispanic creators grow their visibility on social platforms and beyond.

This partnership will also give creators access to TelevisaUnivision’s nationwide studios and special “creator camps” linked to major events, broadening their exposure and providing valuable experience. By integrating creator content into some of the biggest moments in music, sports, and entertainment, the initiative aims to deliver culturally resonant content from leading social voices.

Overall, this collaboration between Ensemble and TelevisaUnivision marks a significant step towards amplifying Hispanic creators and ensuring their stories are heard on a larger scale.
