Jovan Adepo, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie Diego Calva, Li Jun Li and Jean Smart star in Damien Chazelle’s Babylon. Written and directed by Damien Chazelle, the Paramount Pictures film is set to release in theaters on Dec. 23.
Babylon is an original epic tale of outsized ambition and outrageous excess set in 1920s Los Angeles. It portrays the movie industry’s transition from silent films to talkies as it explores the rise and fall of multiple characters and has been described as “The Great Gatsby on steroids.”
Margot Robbie plays Nellie LaRoy and Diego Calva plays Manny Torres. Jovan Adepo plays Sidney Palmer with Brad Pitt as Jack Conrad. Lukas Haas plays George Munn, Tobey Maguire portrays James McKay with Li Jun Li as Lady Fay Zhu.
