Justice Smith and Briana Middleton are set to star in Apple Original Films and A24’s con-artist feature Sharper.
They join previously cast Julianne Moore and Sebastian Stan in the cast.

Benjamin Caron is directing the film based on the spec feature screenplay from Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka. Details on the film are scarce but what we do know is that Sharper follows a con artist, played by Moore, set in the world of Manhattan’s billionaire echelon.
Middleton is cast as one of the four leads. Middleton will play Sandra, a young woman who finds herself in over her head when she enters the complex world of con artists.
Smith will play Tom, a bookstore owner in New York City and Stan will play a fellow con artist.
Moore will also produce Sharper with Bart Freundlich, Brian Gatewood, Alessandro Tanaka and Erik Feig of Picturestart. Julia Hammer of Picturestart will executive produce. A24 will serve as the studio, with Picturestart attached as the production company.

Middleton’s other project includes the Beauty and the Beast prequel where she star as the female lead. She also shot her feature film debut in the forthcoming George Clooney-directed adaptation of The Tender Bar.
You can currently see Smith in HBO’s Genera+ion. He also upcoming for Smith is the film The Voyeurs opposite Sydney Sweeney. He will also reprise his role as Franklin Webb, who was first introduced in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, in Jurassic World: Dominion on June 10, 2022. Additionally, he is currently in production on Dungeons & Dragons with Chris Pine.
