Check out the Wendell & Wild trailer. Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele are back together in Netflix’s stop-motion animated dark comedy ‘Wendell & Wild’
Directed by Henry Selick, the animated dark comedy centers on two scheming demon brothers, Wendell and Wild (Key and Peele), who enlist the aid of 13-year-old Kat Elliot (Lyric Ross) to summon them to the Land of the Living.

The movie which is based on Selick and Clay McLeod Chapman’s unpublished book of the same name also stars Angela Bassett, James Hong, Sam Zelaya, Tamara Smart, Seema Virdi, Ramona Young and Ving Rhames in supporting roles.
Natalie Martinez, Tantoo Cardinal, Igal Naor, Gary Gatewood, Gabrielle Dennis, David Harewood, and Maxine Peake also star in the film. Their roles are undisclosed.
Wendell & Wild will have its world premiere at the 47th Toronto International Film Festival on September 11. After TIFF, on October 21st, the film will be released in select theaters. And then it will begin streaming on Netflix, October 28, 2022.

Selick’s credits include helming stop-motion classics Coraline and The Nightmare Before Christmas. He is also writing and songwriting for the Netflix animated feature.

Peele is producing, as is Selick, Ellen Goldsmith-Vein and Win Rosenfeld.
Academy Award-nominee Bruno Coulais (Les Choristes) is handling Wendell & Wild’s soundtrack.
