Fox and Hulu’s upcoming Family Guy spinoff Stewie has assembled its voice cast, with Kenan Thompson among the latest additions alongside Vanessa Bayer, Melissa O’Neil, Mike Henry, Aaron Lee and Jessica Lowe. They join series creator Seth MacFarlane, who pulls double voiceover duty as both Stewie Griffin and his new classmate Bean.
After getting booted from his old preschool, Stewie is forced to enroll in a new, lesser-quality one attended by a handful of kids he doesn’t know and an opinionated elderly class turtle. Miserable in his new surroundings, Stewie rolls out his trusty array of devices to take his classmates on surreal adventures across space and time, turning every boring school day into an unforgettable journey.
Thompson voices Royal, one of Stewie’s new classmates who has a firm “Hell no” attitude about the hazards of Stewie’s adventures. Bayer voices Morgan, Stewie’s teacher who spends more time partying than watching the kids. O’Neil, making her animation debut, voices Wanda, Stewie’s intellectual soulmate and object of affection. Henry voices BJ, Stewie’s gossipy new classmate and the son of Family Guy’s Bruce, a character Henry also voices on the original series. Lowe voices Caroline, a wannabe influencer and Stewie’s formidable classroom nemesis. Lee voices Skunk, the hundred-year-old class turtle.
The series was created by MacFarlane and Kirker Butler, who serves as showrunner and executive produces alongside Kara Vallow. MacFarlane executive produces via his Fuzzy Door banner. 20th Television Animation is the studio. Stewie received a two-season order from Fox and is set to premiere during the 2027-28 television season, streaming the next day on Hulu.
