Kerry Washington and Lupin star Omar Sy are starring opposite one another in the action-thriller Shadow Force for Lionsgate.
Joe Carnahan is directing the feature that follows “an estranged couple with a bounty on their heads who must go on the run with their son to avoid their former employer, a shadow ops unit that has been sent to kill them.”
Carnahan co-wrote the film with Leon Chills. Stephen “Dr.” Love through his Made with Love Media company (which has an overall deal with Lionsgate) is producing as well as Kerry Washington and Pilar Savone via Washington’s production company Simpson Street. Sterling K Brown who was previously cast to co-star in the project is onboard to produce as well through his Indian Meadows Productions.
Executive producers are Kathy Atkinson, Indian Meadows’ Danielle Reardon and Jennifer Wiley-Stockton. Lionsgate’s Robert Melnik negotiated the deals on behalf of the studio. Pic is being overseen at Lionsgate by Aaron Edmonds and Jorge Alfaro Silva. Quinn Curry is overseeing the production for Made With Love Media.
Sy can next be seen taking down dinosaurs in Jurassic World: Dominion out June 10, 2022, and Washington in the Netflix adaption of The School For Good And Evil in late 2022.
