The couples therapy comedy returns with a stacked lineup of comedians and digital creators for its second run on Tubi
KevOnStage Studios has revealed the full cast for Season 2 of Safe Space, the couples therapy comedy series returning to Tubi on June 11, 2026. The second season adds 21 names to its roster, bringing together a wide range of comedians, digital creators, and performers for eight new episodes.
Alongside KevOnStage, the confirmed cast includes Jade Novah, Mojo Brookz, B. Lynn, Candice Renee, Affion Crockett, Jazmyn W, B.T. Kingsley, Kanisha Buss, Jordan Conley, Mandal Man, Lou Young III, Look At Lolly, Rob Kazi, Courtney Bee, Precious Hall, Keon Polee, Samantha Irvin, Spice Adams, Tia Streaty, Korey With A K.

Creator and star Kevin Fredericks reprises his role as the loosely qualified Dr. Fredericks, the well-meaning but underequipped therapist at the center of the series. Each season follows a rotating set of couples navigating their relationships through his unconventional sessions, and Season 2 continues that structure with fresh pairings and a new wave of comedic energy.
The series is written by Kevin Fredericks and Richard Washington, directed by Washington, and produced by Kevin Fredericks, Melissa Fredericks, and Richard Washington under the KevOnStage Studios banner.
The casting announcement comes on the heels of a first look deal Fredericks recently secured with Tubi, a development this outlet previously reported, signaling a deepening partnership between KevOnStage Studios and the platform. Earlier this year, Fredericks teased the new season on social media with the caption “COOKING UP ANOTHER SEASON SAFE SPACE WITH AMAZING TALENT. TUBI SOON COME,” offering an early glimpse at the production before a premiere date was confirmed.
The expanded lineup reflects an approach that has become a throughline in Fredericks’ work. Across his projects, he has consistently built alongside a community of comedians and creators he champions, and Safe Space carries that same sensibility. The Season 2 cast brings together voices with roots in stand-up, digital content, and television, maintaining the show’s emphasis on comedic timing and collaborative energy.
Season 1 introduced audiences to the show’s signature format, pairing real relationship dynamics with heightened, often outrageous comedy. The sessions covered everything from intimacy and communication to control and compatibility, and the series built a strong following through word of mouth and its binge-friendly structure.
With Season 2 set for June 11, the series already has forward momentum beyond its return. A third season is slated for July 2027, in which Dr. Fredericks takes on nine relationships using increasingly unconventional methods. If Season 2 builds on the foundation the first season laid, the series looks poised to grow well beyond its breakout run.
Safe Space Season 2 premieres June 11, 2026, on Tubi.
