Liza Colón-Zayas and Makita Samba Join Halle Berry in Erotic Drama ‘Fleur’

Liza Colón-Zayas and Makita Samba have joined the cast of Fleur, the upcoming erotic drama starring Halle Berry and directed by Ellie Foumbi (Our Father, the Devil). The film is currently shooting in Paris, with character details being kept under wraps.

They join a previously announced cast that includes Matthias Schoenaerts and Marton Csokas.

The film follows a New York housewife (Berry) who abandons her 30-year marriage to Csokas’ character and relocates to Paris in search of reinvention. There, she adopts the identity of “Fleur,” an upscale escort and dominatrix building a new sense of autonomy and power. But as her past begins to catch up with her, she’s forced to confront whether she can truly leave her old life behind—or fully become who she’s chosen to be.

The screenplay is written by Foumbi, who also directs the project as her second feature following her Venice-premiered thriller Our Father, the Devil.

Behind the camera, the film is financed and co-produced by AGC Studios in partnership with Davis Films, which has secured French distribution rights through Metropolitan Filmexport. Producers include Killer Films’ Christine Vachon, Berry and Holly Jeter under HalleHolly, and Gabriel Mayers of Plot Twist Pictures.

Executive producers include AGC’s Stuart Ford along with Miguel Palos and Zach Garrett, Davis Films’ Victor Hadida, Killer Films’ Pam Koffler, and Lorelle Lynch. Paris-based Vixens is providing production services, while AGC International is handling worldwide sales alongside U.S. representation from UTA Independent Film Group and WME Independent.
