Love & Hip Hop: The Final Chapter, a six-part VH1 original limited series looking back at 15 years of the franchise, premieres Tuesday, November 10 at 8 PM ET on VH1, with new episodes simulcasting weekly across BET and MTV.
Since its 2011 debut, Love & Hip Hop has followed the intersecting worlds of music, relationships, and fame, launching careers and shaping reality television’s cultural footprint along the way. The retrospective series brings together cast members from all four franchise cities, New York, Atlanta, Hollywood, and Miami, alongside the producers, executives, journalists, and cultural commentators who witnessed its evolution, revisiting the franchise’s most memorable moments while offering new context behind them.
The series features new interviews with Stevie J, Joseline Hernandez, Yandy Smith, Mimi Faust, Rasheeda Frost, Trick Daddy, Safaree Samuels, Trina, Ray J, Scrappy, and Yung Joc, alongside cultural commentators Angela Yee, Nina Parker, and Jess Hilarious.
A simulcast spanning three networks for a single retrospective series reflects how much weight this franchise still carries across BET Media Group’s broader portfolio, treating its conclusion as a cross-platform cultural event rather than a standard farewell season confined to one channel. Love & Hip Hop has long served as a launching point for Black artists, entrepreneurs, and personalities who’ve gone on to build careers well beyond the franchise itself, and this retrospective format gives those figures room to reflect on that impact directly, rather than simply replaying old footage.
Love & Hip Hop: The Final Chapter is produced by Antoinette Media, founded by industry veteran Lashan Browning, who also serves as executive producer alongside Donna Edge-Rachell, Alissa Horowitz, Daniel Wiener, Mimi Adams, and John Crenny. Julie Ha executive produces for MTV Entertainment Studios.
With three networks simultaneously carrying the franchise’s send-off and its most recognizable names returning to reflect on its run, the real story may be less about closing a chapter and more about how much of reality television’s current landscape still traces directly back to what this franchise built.
