Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer is gearing up for an explosive fourth season, adding Marcus Henderson (Get Out) and Gigi Zumbado (Heart Eyes) to its cast.
The season picks up right where the Season 3 finale left off—Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) is in serious trouble. Arrested after a client’s body was discovered in the trunk of his Lincoln, the slick defense attorney now finds himself on the other side of the law. Facing a high-stakes murder trial, Mickey will have to fight for his freedom while squaring off against prosecutor Dana Berg (Constance Zimmer), who has ties to his ex-wife Maggie (Neve Campbell).
Henderson takes on the role of Yannick Bamba, a man with a past that makes him a force to be reckoned with. A former gang member with deep South Central roots and West African heritage, Yannick is Mickey’s unexpected lifeline in jail. He’s been enlisted as Mickey’s protection behind bars, offering not just muscle but survival wisdom—guiding the lawyer through the brutal realities of lockup.
Zumbado joins as Grace, a free-spirited and sharp-witted student in Izzy’s (Jazz Raycole) paralegal course. The two form a tight bond, leading Grace to step into Mickey’s world as part of Haller and Associates, aiding in his defense.
KTLA reporter Kacey Montoya will also appear in a guest role as herself.
Season 4 will see the return of The Lincoln Lawyer’s core cast, including Becki Newton (Lorna), Raycole (Izzy), and Angus Sampson (Cisco). And in a welcome comeback, Neve Campbell reprises her role as Maggie McPherson in all ten episodes after a reduced presence last season.
Adapted from Michael Connelly’s The Law of Innocence, the season follows Mickey as he fights for justice—this time, his own. The drama, developed by Ted Humphrey and co-showrun by Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez, will begin filming in February 2025 in Los Angeles.
Since its debut, The Lincoln Lawyer has become one of Netflix’s most-watched series, consistently landing in the streamer’s Global Top 10. Season 1 dominated for 12 weeks, reaching audiences in over 90 countries, while Season 3 pulled in six straight weeks of charting and a 100% Rotten Tomatoes score.
Henderson, whose résumé spans Get Out, Snowfall, and Django Unchained, has been a commanding presence across film and television. His casting signals another layer of depth to The Lincoln Lawyer’s already compelling narrative.
No release date for Season 4 has been announced yet, but with all three previous seasons available on Netflix, there’s still time to catch up before Mickey Haller’s most personal case yet unfolds.
