Bounce TV is bringing back the laughs with the official renewal of its hit comedy Mind Your Business. The show returns for a second season on June 7 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT, following a successful debut that pulled in over 2 million households during its premiere weekend—setting a new record for the network’s original programming.
The series is led by Columbus Short, Drew Sidora and Rolonda Watts with Caryn Ward Ross, Brely Evans, Bryce Xavier, and Chloe Elise Ellis. The show is produced by Harvest Studios and executive produced by comedy veteran Bentley Kyle Evans (Martin, The Jamie Foxx Show).
Set in Chicago, Mind Your Business follows the Williams family, who run a lively event and party planning space that specializes in helping others celebrate life’s biggest moments. But when it comes to handling their own personal drama? Let’s just say, things tend to spiral faster than a DJ’s playlist at a wedding. The family business may be booming, but their family dynamic needs a little more help—and a lot more patience.
Season 2 picks up with more surprises, secrets, and shakeups that keep the Williams family on their toes. Jordan steps into protective mode as she fights to keep her parents’ relationship from falling apart, while Aaliyah moving in with Mia creates a whole new level of household chaos. Alfonso and Kim find themselves caught in some wild and unexpected situations, all while long-buried truths begin to bubble to the surface. Between budding romances, shifting alliances, and some serious family curveballs, the Williams family proves that no matter how messy things get, they’ll always hold each other down.
“The Williams family entertained millions in its debut season, and now the family is back for more,” said Adam Harman, senior vice president of programming for Scripps Networks. “Viewers will be in store for another hilarious topsy-turvy journey in season two.”
If you thought Season 1 was wild, just wait. The Williams family is back—and this time, they’re doubling down on the drama, the heart, and the hilarity.
