From Reggie Dinkins to ‘One Chicago,’ NBC Sets Fall 2026 Premiere Dates

NBC has locked in its fall 2026 premiere schedule, with the network rolling out a mix of returning heavyweights and new series from September through November.

The season gets underway on September 9 with the NFL Kickoff Game, a Super Bowl LX rematch pitting the defending champion Seattle Seahawks against the New England Patriots. Sunday Night Football follows four days later with the Dallas Cowboys visiting the New York Giants.

The scripted season officially kicks off September 17 with the two-hour premiere of The Traitors: New Blood, an all-civilian spinoff of Peacock’s hit competition series hosted by Alan Cumming.

The One Chicago trifecta of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. returns to its Wednesday anchor position beginning October 7, with Law & Order: SVU and Law & Order picking up Thursdays the following night.

November 2 brings back St. Denis Medical and The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins to the Monday lineup.

Two previously announced scripted series, the Rockford Files reboot starring David Boreanaz and Jake Johnson and Jane Levy’s comedy Sunset P.I., will hold for midseason premieres in January and February respectively. Unscripted holdovers include Destination X Season 2 and new game show Wordle, hosted by Savannah Guthrie.

NBC will also mark its 100th anniversary with a three-hour special on December 10, with the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade airing November 26.
