Cue & Coda Films has wrapped principal photography in Dallas on The Sin We Bear, a faith-based psychological drama starring Nhadya Salomon and Tobias Truvillion. The feature also stars Vee Mechelle, Brandon Armstead, and Mashayla Barnes. Curshion Jones directs.
The film centers on Naomi Carter, a therapist played by Salomon, whose personal and professional worlds collide when unresolved family wounds resurface. As long-buried truths come to light, the story examines the consequences of silence, questions of accountability, and the emotional scars passed down across generations. The Sin We Bear treats forgiveness not as a tidy resolution but as a difficult, personal process shaped by truth, confession, and the possibility of redemption.
The film is executive produced by Misty Gibson, Ellen Hambrick, and Chuck Harris, and produced by Cue & Coda Films, continuing the Dallas-based company’s focus on character-driven stories exploring faith, relationships, and the broader human experience.
With principal photography complete, The Sin We Bear has moved into post-production. First-look images, distribution details, and a release date will be announced at a later time.
