Nick Cannon's Podcast Turned Talk Show 'Counsel Culture' Gets Premiere Date [TRAILER]

Amazon MGM Studios is bringing Nick Cannon’s podcast “Counsel Culture” to Prime Video and Amazon Freevee starting June 6. The show will focus on male mental health, addressing topics like grief, loyalty, financial security, marriage, trust, and emotional vulnerability. Each half-hour episode will feature Cannon and guest co-hosts discussing these timely issues.

The series aims to destigmatize discussions about male mental health. Cannon will be joined by doctors, therapists, and psychiatrists, as well as various guest panelists who will share their personal experiences. The show will be available on Prime Video in the U.S., UK, Australia, and New Zealand, and on Freevee in the U.S. and UK.

Guest panelists include comedian Howie Mandel, former NBA star Lamar Odom, entertainer NE-YO, NFL receiver DeSean Jackson, artist Ray-J, singer-songwriter August Alsina, therapist Stephan Speaks, BEAM founder Yolo Akili Robinson, psychic medium John Edward, grief expert David Kessler, comedian Tim Chantarangsu, relationship expert Terri Cole, comedian Godfrey, therapist and author John Kim, Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Sheila Nazarian, NFL legend T.J. Slaughter, former UFC champion Tyron Woodley, NBA star Matt Barnes, and therapist and author John Kim.

Cannon, who is also the executive producer, said, “I created Counsel Culture to help destigmatize male mental health. It’s a safe space for men to discuss their emotions and allow themselves to learn, grow, and heal. Instead of canceling each other, we are counseling each other.”

In addition to “Counsel Culture,” Cannon will host “Wish List Games,” a multi-episode holiday event where contestants can win up to $25,000 worth of items from their Amazon Wish Lists. This game show will also feature content creator Lele Pons as a special correspondent.

“Counsel Culture” is produced by NCredible and Amazon MGM Studios, with Nick Cannon, Benjamin Sumpter, and Michael Goldman as executive producers. Edgar Martin is the director.
