Octavia Spencer, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Lucy Liu are attached to star in the upcoming high-concept comedy, “Nobody, Nothing, Nowhere.” The film will be launched for sales at the upcoming European Film Market (EFM) by The Exchange.
Scheduled to begin filming this summer, “Nobody Nothing Nowhere” tells the story of Ruth, one of the Non-People, human-like beings designed to fill in a realistic world for the only person on Earth, Dave. Tired of serving as a background character in someone else’s life, Ruth is ready to fight for her own existence and individuality.

The film is written and directed by Rachel Wolther and Alex H. Fischer and produced by veteran producers Josh Penn and Michael Gottwald of the Department of Motion Pictures, Allison Rose Carter, Octavia Spencer, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Lucy Liu. Other executive producers include Christina Campagnola, Brian Clisham and Stephanie Kluft of Orit Entertainment, Brian O’Shea, Nat McCormick, and Caddy Vanasirikul of The Exchange, and Blair Ward and Anders Erden of Orogen Entertainment.
“Nobody Nothing Nowhere” is a 2018 Blacklist and Sundance Screenwriter Labs script and is being represented domestically by CAA Media Finance and WME Independent. The film is expected to be a commercial success, with its strong script and thought-provoking themes, tackling social issues in a unique and imaginative cinematic universe.
