Netflix has unveiled the official trailer for Outer Banks Season 4, giving fans a glimpse of the Pogues’ next high-stakes treasure hunt. The trailer reveals an adventure that takes the characters further than ever before, introducing new challenges and dangerous enemies.
The season picks up after last season’s 18-month flash-forward, where Wes Genrette proposed a search for Blackbeard’s treasure. The Pogues—John B, Sarah Cameron, Kiara, JJ, Pope, and Cleo—have returned to the Outer Banks after their discovery of El Dorado’s gold. They’ve set up a new home base they call “Poguelandia 2.0,” running a bait, tackle, and charter tour business. However, financial problems surface, with a looming $13,000 debt threatening to derail their plans.

Faced with mounting pressure, the group agrees to Wes Genrette’s offer to dive into another treasure hunt—this time searching for the legendary loot of Blackbeard, hidden 80 feet below the ocean’s surface. Netflix will release Season 4 in two parts, with Part 1 debuting on October 10, 2024, followed by Part 2 on November 7, 2024.
