OWN is expanding its digital footprint this July with two new creator-led series designed for and by women. Dating Download with Kendra G and Glow Up in 5 with Zoe Spencer both premiere this month exclusively on OWN’s digital platforms.
Dating Download, premiering July 29, taps media personality Kendra G, who goes by “Kupid with a K,” as a modern-day matchmaker. The series pairs ten women with the exact type of man they said they wanted on paper, whether that’s the provider, the entrepreneur, the soft guy, or the reformed player, then lets chemistry do the rest. After each date, couples face a final decision: Download and pursue the connection, or Delete and walk away for good.
Glow Up in 5, premiering July 21, puts actress and lifestyle creator Zoe Spencer on the clock. Each episode, Spencer faces a surprise beauty challenge with no prep and no clues, tasked with pulling off a flawless makeup, hair, or skincare look in five minutes or less. The series is less about perfection and more about showing up with intention, with each episode ending in either a Glow Up or a Blow Up.
Both series are produced by Content.23 and Pauline Malcolm-Thornton’s BrandStory Architech, and are part of OWN’s ongoing push to champion women’s voices through creator-led storytelling across its digital and social platforms.
