Oprah Winfrey Network has greenlit a second season of “Dating Download,” its digital dating series hosted by dating and singles expert Kendra G.
The renewal reflects OWN’s continued support of the show, which brings a digital-first perspective to modern dating and relationships. Season 2 will continue exploring compatibility, dating culture and the realities of finding love today.
“Dating Download” is a 10-episode series that pairs women with the type of man they say they want, putting their dating checklists to the test to see if real chemistry lives up to expectations. At the end of each episode, each couple must make one final decision: download the relationship or delete it.
The series is produced by Content.23 in partnership with Pauline Malcolm-Thornton’s BrandStory Architech and streams exclusively on OWN’s digital platforms.
Kendra G brings considerable experience to the role. A television and radio personality with a 20-year broadcast career, she spent 15 years in Chicago radio, most notably as a morning show host on 107.5 WGCI, and held on-air roles in Atlanta, Philadelphia and other markets. She has also appeared on television in “Empire,” “Celebrity Squares” and “Social Society.”
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Kendra G began hosting live matchmaking sessions on Instagram, which expanded to YouTube, Facebook and a dedicated dating app. Through her Kendra G Singles platform, she has interviewed more than 15,000 singles and built a matchmaking community with reach from the United States to Paris.
