Two months after BET+ was folded into Paramount+, the streamer has renewed four of the former BET+ original series for new seasons. Tyler Perry’s Divorced Sistas has been picked up for Season 3, Zatima for Season 6, Carl Weber’s The Black Hamptons for Season 3 and The Family Business for Season 7.
Divorced Sistas and Zatima have each received 16-episode orders, consistent with the pattern for Tyler Perry productions, which typically run in two eight-episode installments. The Family Business and The Black Hamptons have each been renewed for 10 episodes.
Notably, two of the renewals cover seasons that had already been quietly filming. A 20-episode fifth season of Zatima and a 16-episode second season of Divorced Sistas had been in production without a formal announcement. Divorced Sistas, a spinoff of Perry’s popular Sistas, logged the most watched series premiere on BET+ last summer.
The Family Business and Black Hamptons renewals come after significant gaps between seasons. The Black Hamptons Season 3 arrives more than two and a half years after its second season ended its run on BET+, while The Family Business Season 6 released its finale in December 2024.
The four renewals join the March Season 6 renewal of The Ms. Pat Show, which was announced ahead of BET+’s migration to Paramount+ in June.
The integration of BET+ into Paramount+ involved Paramount buying out Tyler Perry Studios’ stake in the streamer. Perry remains one of Paramount’s most prolific creators and producers across BET and Paramount+.

The Black Hamptons Season 3 stars Lamman Rucker, Vanessa Bell Calloway, Elise Neal, Brian White, Karon Riley and Mike Merrill. Set in the upscale Black community of Sag Harbor, New York, the series follows the tensions between the Britton family and the newly arrived Johnsons. The Family Business Season 7 stars Ernie Hudson, Valarie Pettiford, Darrin Dewitt Henson, Javicia Leslie, Tami Roman, Sean Ringgold, Michael Jai White, Arrington Foster and LisaRaye McCoy. The series follows the wealthy Duncan family and their New York-based criminal enterprise where family always comes first. Executive produced by Weber, Brown Jones, Haley and Hudson.
Tyler Perry’s Divorced Sistas Season 3 stars LeToya Luckett, Khadeen Indrea, Porscha Coleman, Briana Price, Jennifer Sears, DeVon Franklin, Ronreaco Lee and Robert Christopher Riley.
