The third big screen adventure for the beloved rescue pups hits theaters August 14, 2026
The PAW Patrol pups are back, and this time they have traded Adventure Bay for an uncharted island full of dinosaurs.
Paramount Animation and Spin Master Entertainment have released the trailer for PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie, the third theatrical installment in the franchise following PAW Patrol: The Movie and PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie. After their ship gets caught in a mysterious storm, the pups crash land on a tropical island where they meet Rex, a pup who has been stranded there for years and become an expert in all things dino-related. Things take a turn when the PAW Patrol’s archrival Mayor Humdinger begins recklessly mining the island for its natural resources, accidentally triggering a dormant volcano. The pups must pull off their biggest and most dino-sized rescues yet before everything on the island goes extinct.
Franchise director Cal Brunker returns to helm the film from a script he co-wrote with longtime collaborator Bob Barlen, based on the hit preschool series created by Keith Chapman. The voice cast features Carter Young as Marshall, Mckenna Grace as Skye, Rain Janjua as Chase, Lucien Duncan-Reid as Rubble, William Desrosiers as Rocky, Nylan Parthipan as Zuma, and Henry Bolan making his debut as Ryder. Hayden Chemberlen voices new pup Rex, with Terry Crews, Jennifer Hudson, Meredith MacNeill, Ron Pardo, Fortune Feimster, Jameela Jamil, Bill Nye, Paris Hilton, and Snoop Dogg rounding out the ensemble.
The film also features new music from the Backstreet Boys, whose new single Bottle Up is available to pre-save now ahead of its June 12 release.
PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie is produced by Jennifer Dodge, Laura Clunie, and Toni Stevens, with Ronnen Harary serving as executive producer.
