BET has announced the premiere date for ‘The Ms. Pat Show’ season 4 and renewed ‘Ms. Pat Settles It’ for a second season on BET. The former will return for its fourth season on May 23 exclusively on BET+.

‘The Ms. Pat Show’ is based on Patricia Williams’ memoir, “Rabbit: The Autobiography of Ms. Pat,” and follows the fictional Carson family in Plainfield, Indiana. Led by Ms. Pat herself (played by Patricia Williams), the show addresses modern-day issues faced by African American families, including topics like non-binary pronouns, abortion, black hair, school shootings, drug addiction, racism, and child abuse. It’s known for its raw and unfiltered take on these subjects.
