In a gripping tale inspired by true events, the Peacock Original film “Bosco” is set to premiere exclusively on February 2nd. The Film centers on the prison-break of Quawntay “Bosco” Adams, portrayed by Aubrey Joseph. Sentenced to 35 years for attempting to possess marijuana, Bosco orchestrates an audacious escape from a federal maximum-security prison to witness the birth of his first child. Tyrese Gibson, Vivica A Fox, Nikki Blonsky, Theo Rossi, and Thomas Jane also star in the feature.

In the year 2006, with over two million Americans incarcerated, Bosco stands as the singular individual who successfully broke free from a maximum-security wing, all while under 24-hour surveillance. His motivation? The impending birth of his child. The narrative takes an unexpected turn as Bosco devises an ingenious escape plan, enlisting the help of a lonely woman from Missouri whom he encounters through a response to a personal ad.

“Bosco” will feature original music from prominent hip-hop artists, including Snoop Dogg, French Montana, The Game, DDG, and more.

Behind the scenes, the film is brought to life through the collaborative efforts of Evergreen Valley Productions and Fluke Studios. “Bosco” marks the feature directorial debut of Nicholas Manuel Pino, a talented Chilean American director and writer. The screenplay draws inspiration from Quawntay “Bosco” Adams’ book, “Chasin Freedum.”

Executive producers David Ayer and Chris Long contribute their expertise to the project, ensuring a high-quality production. The film is produced by Quawntay “Bosco” Adams himself, alongside Darryll C. Scott, Justin Steele, and Patrick McErlean. With its captivating storyline, talented cast, and a soundtrack featuring some of the biggest names in hip-hop, “Bosco” is poised to captivate audiences when it hits the Peacock streaming platform on February 2nd.
