Hulu has released a first look at the second season of “Reasonable Doubt,” slated to return on August 22 with a double-episode premiere. Subsequent episodes will stream every Thursday on Hulu.
In the upcoming season, Jax Stewart, played by Emayatzy Corinealdi, attempts to rebuild her life following a turbulent trial and a dangerous affair. However, her plans are upended when a close friend confesses to killing her husband, claiming self-defense. As Jax steps in to defend her friend, she faces an unyielding prosecutor and the pressures of the most significant case of her career, all while trying to salvage her marriage and personal well-being.
Created, written, and executive produced by Raamla Mohamed, “Reasonable Doubt” features a strong ensemble cast, including McKinley Freeman, Morris Chestnut, Tim Jo, Angela Grovey, Thaddeus J. Mixson, and Aderinsola Olabode. The series is executive produced by Kerry Washington, Pilar Savone, Larry Wilmore, and Anton Cropper, among others, and is produced by ABC Signature, a part of Disney Television Studios.
“Reasonable Doubt” is part of the Onyx Collective, a Disney Entertainment Television brand focused on premium content.
