Shout! Studios has recently announced an eagerly anticipated nationwide theatrical release date of September 28th for “The Kill Room,” a darkly comedic thriller from Yale Entertainment. The film marks the exciting reunion of Hollywood icons Samuel L. Jackson and Uma Thurman, who previously captivated audiences with their memorable performances in Quentin Tarantino’s cult classic “Pulp Fiction.”

Penned by Jonathan Jacobson and directed by Nicol Paone, “The Kill Room” is a gripping crime thriller, blending elements of dark humor and suspense. The plot revolves around a hitman, portrayed by Samuel L. Jackson, named Jack, whose boss, Veronica (Uma Thurman), is an art dealer involved in illicit money laundering.

When a botched money laundering scheme accidentally turns Jack into an overnight avant-garde sensation, the art world collides with the dangerous realm of the underworld. Forced to play both sides, Veronica finds herself entangled in a treacherous game of survival, where she must navigate the art world’s intrigue and the threats from the criminal underworld.

Joining Jackson and Thurman in the cast is Joe Manganiello, who plays the role of a fellow hitman named Tony. The ensemble also includes Debi Mazar as Delilah, Dree Hemingway as Lily, Amy Keum as Lisa, Candy Buckley as Agatha, Larry Pine as Mr. Prescott, Jennifer Kim as Detective Lee, Matthew Maher as Harry, Tom Pecinka as Peter, and Alexander Sokovikov as Ivan.

The film brings together a talented team of producers, including Jordan Yale Levine, Jordan Beckerman, Jon Keeyes, Anne Clements of Idiot Savant Pictures, Nicol Paone, Uma Thurman, and Dannielle Thomas and Jason Weinberg from Untitled Entertainment. “The Kill Room” is a joint production effort by Yale Productions and Idiot Savant Pictures in association with Such Content, BK Studios, Great Escape, Bondit Media Capital, Head Gear Films, Metrol Technology, Slated, Supernova Capital LLP, and Complex Corp. The film is backed by an extensive list of executive producers, further attesting to the project’s appeal and potential.
