In Montana, a Western film titled “Unholy Trinity” is currently in production, starring Pierce Brosnan, Samuel L. Jackson, and Brandon Lessard. This project is being directed by Richard Gray and has secured a SAG-AFTRA Interim Agreement.
“Unholy Trinity” is described as a story of revenge, dark secrets, and buried treasures, set against the backdrop of 1870s Montana. The narrative unfolds as Isaac Broadway faces execution and entrusts his estranged son, Henry (played by Brandon Lessard), with an impossible mission: to murder the man responsible for framing him for a crime he didn’t commit. As Henry embarks on this perilous journey, he finds himself entangled in the remote town of Trinity, where he becomes caught between Gabriel Dove (Pierce Brosnan), the town’s new sheriff, and a mysterious figure named St. Christopher (Samuel L. Jackson).
The film is being written by Lee Zachariah and is currently shooting at Yellowstone Film Ranch. The production team includes Carter Boehm, Richard Gray, Colin Floom, Michele Gray, Kellie Brooks, and Jeanne Allgood as producers, with Amadeus Productions serving as the executive producer.
Director Richard Gray expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating, “Thrilled doesn’t even begin to describe how we feel about collaborating with such exceptional talent on Unholy Trinity. It’s a captivating story, and we feel fortunate to be able to make an epic Western during the strike, working alongside SAG every step of the way. Paradise Valley, Montana, is a spectacular location and the ideal backdrop for this special story.”
Pierce Brosnan, known for his recent appearances in “The King’s Daughter,” “Black Adam,” and “The Out-Laws,” is set to star in “Fast Charlie,” an action thriller alongside Morena Baccarin and the late James Caan. His upcoming projects also include “Places, Please,” “Four Letters of Love,” and “The Last Rifleman.”
Samuel L. Jackson, recognized for his roles in “Pulp Fiction” and “Nick Fury” in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has a busy schedule ahead. He is part of Matthew Vaughn’s spy movie “Argylle,” the adaptation of August Wilson’s play “The Piano Lesson,” “The Marvels,” and a new animated Garfield film.
Brandon Lessard, who joins the cast of “Unholy Trinity,” has previously collaborated with director Richard Gray on projects like “Robert the Bruce,” “Murder at Yellowstone City,” and “Broken Ghost.”
