Get a Glimpse of the Late Erica Ash and Richard Roundtree in Season 2 Trailer of Legal Drama ‘Sacrifice’

The trailer and key art are here for Season 2 of Sacrifice, the legal drama starring Paula Patton, and it offers fans a bittersweet look at two performers no longer with us: the late Erica Ash and the late Richard Roundtree, who played Ellis Shaw in Season 1, both appear in the new footage.

Patton returns as Daniella Hernandez, a Los Angeles entertainment attorney navigating the world of high finance as she works to save her family’s birthright. The season also follows Beverly Rucker, played by Ash, as her mayoral run through a recall election forces a reckoning with her own moral center, while Dom Mayfield (Juan Antonio) discovers that the road to legitimacy is harder to walk than expected.

Season 2 consists of ten episodes and premieres with two episodes on Wednesday, September 30, exclusively on Paramount+, with new episodes following weekly.

The cast also includes Juan Antonio, Clifton Powell, Veronika Bozeman, Altonio Jackson, Nicyoe Banks, Michael Toland, James Trevena, and Nelson Bonilla.

Ash’s appearance carries added weight following the actress’ death in 2025. She reprises her role as Beverly Rucker in the season, giving audiences another opportunity to see one of her final performances. Roundtree, who died in 2023, also appeared in the series as Ellis Shaw.

Patton executive produces alongside the late Kevin Arkadie, who also served as showrunner. Ruth Ferrera is co-executive producer, with Marcus Guillory as supervising producer. Edward Allen Bernero and Felicia Henderson serve as consulting producers, and Paul Hall serves as producer.
