Deborah Cox joins HBO Max's limited series Station Eleven in a recurring capacity. It is a 10-episode post-apocalyptic saga about survivors of a devastating flu as they attempt to rebuild. They also are reimagining the world anew while holding on to the best of what’s been lost. Cox will play Wendy, a musician looking for more in The Traveling Symphony. Somerville will also executive produce the series which also stars Daniel Zovatto and Lori Petty as series regulars. Zovatto is an enigmatic leader of a mysterious cult of young people. While Petty stars as the leader of a group of traveling Shakespeare performers. Rounding out the cast in a recurring capacity are Andy McQueen, David Cross, Enrico Colantoni, and Julian Obradors. McQueen stars as “Sayid,” a charming, impatient actor in the Traveling Symphony alongside Cox's Wendy. Cross is “Gil,” a brilliant but temperamental theater director. Colantoni is cast as “Brian,” agent to a world-famous actress until the pandemic upends the world as he knew it. And Obradors stars as “Tyler Leander,” the precocious son of two movie stars, who learns painful life lessons by watching the adults around him respond to the crisis. Hiro Murai directs and executive produces with Somerville, Scott Steindorff, Scott Delman, Dylan Russell, Nate Matteson, Jeremy Podeswa and Jessica Rhoades. Nick Cuse and David Nicksay will serve as co-EPs. Paramount TV Studios is producing the series for HBO Max. Station Eleven doesn't have a premiere date yet.
