Actress Tasha Smith is set to replace Theresa Randle in the upcoming Sony Pictures film, “Bad Boys 4,” alongside actors Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. Smith will portray Theresa, the devoted wife of Marcus Burnett (played by Lawrence) in the film franchise. Randle played the same character in the first three films. Details about the plot of “Bad Boys 4” have not yet been revealed.

The movie, which remains untitled still reunites stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence with their Bad Boys For Life directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah. The fourth installment will also star Paola Núnez, Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig who are reprising their roles from Bad Boys 3. As well as welcoming Melanie Liburd, Eric Dane and Ioan Gruffudd to the franchise.
Details on their roles remain unknown but Liburd is set as a lead portraying a character named of Christine. Gruffudd will play Lockwood, a high-profile attorney running for election. And Dane is expected to play villain in pic.

The Bad Boys franchise, which follows the adventures of two Miami detectives, Mike Lowrey (played by Smith) and Marcus Burnett (played by Lawrence), has been a commercial success, grossing over $840 million across three films. The third film alone earned $426 million, making it the highest-grossing movie of the franchise. The franchise debuted with the first Bad Boys film in 1995, followed by Bad Boys II in 2003, and then a long-awaited third installment, Bad Boys For Life, in 2020.
The script for the movie was penned by Chris Bremner, and the film is being produced by a team consisting of Smith, Jerry Bruckheimer, Doug Belgrad, and Chad Oman. The executive producers include Lawrence, James Lassiter, Mike Stenson, Barry Waldman, and Jon Mone.
