In “Last Ride,” Diggs takes on the intense role of Josh, Sarah’s aggressive and possessive husband. A former military serviceman suffering from PTSD, Josh becomes increasingly determined to keep Sarah under his control, refusing to let her escape the clutches of his abusive grip.

“I’m excited about this one. We get to see Taye tap in a different role that we not use to seeing him in,” Hill said in a statement. “It’s definitely a blessing to have someone like him who been killing the game for years lead this film.”

The casting for the roles of Sarah and the cab driver, Dimitri, is yet to be announced. However, the film has already generated considerable buzz in the industry, attracting interest from various platforms eager to secure this highly anticipated project.
