‘The Bear’ Is Back for Its Final Season and the Restaurant Has Never Been Closer to Falling Apart [TRAILER]

All eight episodes premiere June 25 on FX and Hulu, with Carmy stepping back and the restaurant fighting to survive

FX has released the trailer for the fifth and final season of The Bear, arriving June 25 on FX and Hulu. All eight episodes drop that day on Hulu, with FX airing them weekly at 9 p.m. ET through August 6.

The season picks up the morning after Carmy’s decision to walk away from the restaurant, leaving The Bear in the hands of Sydney, Richie, and Natalie. Sydney is now running the kitchen as head chef, with the rest of the crew scrambling to keep the restaurant alive under impossible circumstances. The building is being sold by Uncle Cicero. There is no money. A torrential storm threatens to flood the floor and collapse the ceiling. And a delivery cutoff puts the team’s last chance at a Michelin star in serious jeopardy.

The trailer makes clear that Carmy has not disappeared entirely. He returns to the restaurant and tells his crew, “I look at you all, and I love you so much.” But this season belongs to Sydney, and to a team that has to figure out whether The Bear can survive without the person who built it.

The Bear stars Ayo Edebiri, Jeremy Allen White, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Abby Elliott, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colon-Zayas, and Matty Matheson, with Oliver Platt, Jamie Lee Curtis, Will Poulter, and Ricky Staffieri in recurring roles. The series was created by Christopher Storer, who executive produces alongside Joanna Calo, Josh Senior, Hiro Murai, Nate Matteson, and Matheson. Storer also serves as primary director for the season alongside Murai. The Bear is produced by FX Productions.

The fifth and final season of The Bear premieres June 25 on FX and Hulu.
