Things just got really real at The Real.
According to The Jasmine Brand, after eight seasons The Real talk show is being canceled.
There wasn’t a specific reason as to way the all-female talk show was cut but it’s speculated that ratings played a part in its demise.

The Real was created by SallyAnn Salsano and initially received a trial run on Fox-owned markets in the summer of 2013. In 2014 it went into full syndication with original co-hosted by Tamera Mowry-Housley, Adrienne Bailon, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai, and Tamar Braxton.

Over the years original hosts Braxton and Mowry-Housley left and the show added Amanda Seales as a permanent host before she left citing her dissatisfaction with the inability to openly speak on recent social issues as a reason, along with a lack of minority executive staff within Telepictures.
Its current hosts include originals Bailon, Love, Mai, and newest addition Garcelle Beauvais.
None of the hosts have confirmed the cancellation.
