FOX unveiled the teaser trailer for its upcoming special The Real Full Monty featuring some of your TV faves baring it all for cancer awareness.

On Monday, December 9, The Real Full Monty returns to television with a powerful message and an all-star cast on FOX. Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Anthony Anderson (Black-ish) will lead a team of notable celebrities, including Taye Diggs (All American), James Van Der Beek (Dawson’s Creek), Tyler Posey (Teen Wolf), Dancing With the Stars judge Bruno Tonioli, and Kansas City Chiefs’ football star Chris Jones, to bare all in a special two-hour event designed to raise awareness for prostate, testicular, and colorectal cancer screenings and research.

With choreography by Emmy-winning Mandy Moore (So You Think You Can Dance, La La Land), The Real Full Monty combines humor, camaraderie, and purpose as this group of male celebrities trains and rehearses for a final strip-tease performance before a live audience. Throughout the show, the men share personal stories about how cancer has impacted their lives or those close to them. The aim is to confront the stigma surrounding men’s health, encouraging viewers to prioritize regular screenings and preventive measures.

Inspired by the acclaimed 1997 British film The Full Monty, which followed a group of unemployed men forming a strip show, FOX’s adaptation taps into the original’s charm and social consciousness while putting a spotlight on critical health issues. Originally launched on the UK’s ITV in 2017, The Real Full Monty has grown into an international format, earning awards and accolades in countries like Australia, France, and the Netherlands.

Produced by Spun Gold TV (a 53 Degrees Global company) and FOX Alternative Entertainment, The Real Full Monty aims to combine entertainment with awareness, breaking down barriers and encouraging men to seek vital health screenings. The special, which Anderson executive produces alongside Dan Norris and Ashley Edens, will air on FOX from 8:00–10:00 PM ET/PT and stream on Hulu the following day.
