‘The Sex Lives of College Girls’ Season 3 Sets November Premiere [Teaser Trailer]

Max original comedy The Sex Lives of College Girls is set to return for its third season, with the first episode dropping on Thursday, November 21, at 9 p.m. ET. After a two-year wait since the second season aired, fans can look forward to weekly releases through January 23, as the show continues to follow the hilarious and sometimes chaotic lives of four suitemates navigating their sophomore year at Essex College.

In the newly released teaser, the core cast—Pauline Chalamet, Amrit Kaur, Alyah Chanelle Scott, and Reneé Rapp—return to their familiar dorm, ready for another year of mischief and friendship. The teaser opens with Kimberly (Chalamet) and Whitney (Scott) arriving back at their dorm after what looks like a double “walk of shame,” much to the amusement of Bela (Kaur) and Leighton (Rapp). Bela, always eager for a laugh, tries to commemorate the moment by urging the group to pose for a photo while saying, “Say dicked down on three.” Kimberly complies, but Whitney is quick to shut it down with a firm “absolutely not.”

Season 3 features wild parties, roommate bonding, and relationship drama that made the first two seasons a hit. Bela’s latest romantic interest happens to be the school mascot, Franklin the Fox, leaving her roommates stunned. Meanwhile, Kimberly makes an awkward confession to Whitney that she swiped right on Whitney’s father on a dating app, leading to a hilariously shocked reaction from her friend.

This season marks the final one featuring Reneé Rapp as a series regular. The Mean Girls star, who has launched a successful music career, announced her departure from the show last summer. She will appear in a handful of episodes to conclude her character Leighton’s storyline.

Season 2 ended with plenty of unresolved tension. Whitney discovered Kimberly kissing her ex-boyfriend Canaan (Christopher Meyer), pushing her to rethink her living arrangements. Meanwhile, Bela was ready to leave Essex altogether after facing challenges in the campus comedy scene.

The Sex Lives of College Girls continues to be helmed by Emmy-nominated writer and producer Mindy Kaling, along with showrunner Justin Noble. The series has resonated with audiences for its frank exploration of young adulthood, humor, and vibrant cast. The returning cast also includes Christopher Meyer, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino, Renika Williams, Gracie Lawrence, and Mia Rodgers.

Prepare for more laughs, hookups, and the enduring messiness of college life when The Sex Lives of College Girls premieres later this fall.
