'The White Lotus' Season 3 Teaser Previews Natasha Rothwell’s Return and a Chaotic Escape to Thailand

The White Lotus returns for its third season on February 16, 2025, taking viewers to a luxury resort in Thailand for another round of sharp satire, mystery, and lavish escapism. The trailer introduces a fresh ensemble cast while marking the return of Natasha Rothwell as Belinda Lindsey, the spa manager who became a fan favorite in season one.

This season, Rothwell stands as the only returning cast member, with her character poised to anchor a new storyline among the chaos of vacationing elites. The sprawling cast includes Carrie Coon, Walton Goggins, Leslie Bibb, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, and Patrick Schwarzenegger. BLACKPINK’s Lisa also makes her official acting debut, stepping into the role of a hotel staff member in a departure from her K-pop stardom.

Series creator Mike White hinted that season three will explore themes of death and Eastern spirituality, continuing the anthology’s tradition of dissecting societal issues through the lens of privilege and luxury. In the trailer, a voiceover muses, “Everyone runs from pain towards pleasure, but they get there only to find more pain,” setting the stage for another season of indulgence gone wrong.

While plot specifics remain under wraps, the teaser confirms a week of unpredictable drama, opulence, and potential tragedy for the guests and employees of this exclusive Thai resort. Watch the teaser below.

The first two seasons of The White Lotus were Emmy powerhouses, with season one focusing on wealth and privilege and season two diving into the complexities of sex and relationships. Jennifer Coolidge, a standout from both seasons, brought home back-to-back Emmy wins. Season three aims to maintain the show’s streak of critical success while taking viewers to new cultural and thematic terrain.

Joining the core cast are Jason Isaacs, Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola, Aimee Lou Wood, and Scott Glenn, among others. The series is created, written, and directed by White, with David Bernad and Mark Kamine returning as executive producers alongside him.

HBO describes the season as “a social satire set at an exclusive Thai resort, following the exploits of various guests and employees over the span of a week.”

The White Lotus season three premieres February 16 at 9 p.m. on HBO and will be available for streaming on Max. Check out the trailer below for a first look at the drama, intrigue, and picturesque landscapes that await.
