Tiffany Haddish Stars in and Produces Family Comedy I.F.

Tiffany Haddish is set to star in the live-action hybrid family comedy I.F.

Tiffany Haddish is set to star in the live-action hybrid family comedy I.F. for Universal Pictures.

Mike Mitchell is attached to direct based on a script by Darren Lemke. Specific details on the film, I.F. are under wraps but the story centers around an imaginary friend and uses both animation with live-action. Think Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

Haddish will also produce through her She Ready banner with Safehouse Pictures partners Tory Tunnell and Joby Harold.

Up next for Haddish, she is starring in the drama The Card Counter. Paul Schrader is directing the feature which centers on William Tell (Oscar Issac) is a gambler and former serviceman who sets out to reform a young man seeking revenge on a mutual enemy from their past. Tell just wants to play cards. His spartan existence on the casino trail is shattered when he is approached by Cirk (Tye Sheridan), a vulnerable and angry young man seeking help to execute his plan for revenge on a military colonel. Tell sees a chance at redemption through his relationship with Cirk. That film will be in theaters September 10, 2021.
