Tim Meadows Latest to Join Cast of Netflix’s ’13 Going on 30′ Reboot

Tim Meadows is the latest addition to Netflix’s 13 Going on 30 reboot, joining previously announced cast members Emily Bader, Logan Lerman, Adeline Rudolph, Jessica Alba and Taylor Ortega and Dan Bucatinsky.

The SNL alum, best known for comedies including Mean Girls and Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, has most recently been seen starring in CBS’s workplace comedy DMV and recurring on HBO Max’s Peacemaker. He will next be seen in A24’s The Chaperones starring Cooper Hoffman and David Jonsson. His role in the reboot has not yet been disclosed.

The original 2004 Columbia Pictures rom-com followed a 13-year-old girl who magically wakes up as her 30-year-old self and must navigate adulthood while rediscovering who she really is. The film starred Jennifer Garner opposite Mark Ruffalo and grossed roughly $96 million at the global box office. Garner is aboard the reboot as executive producer.

Brett Haley directs from a script by Hannah Marks with revisions by Flora Greeson. Production is currently underway in Los Angeles. Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum produce for RK Films, with Garner executive producing alongside Donna Roth, Susan Arnold, Scott Hemming, Alyssa Altman, Marks, Gina Matthews and Ted Gidlow.
