Tobi Olujinmi’s Black Female-Led Production Label Hill 5.14 Media Signs First-Look Deal with Sony and Eleventh Hour Films

Sony Pictures Television (SPT) and Eleventh Hour Films have secured a first-look deal with Hill 5.14 Media, the Black female-led production label founded by Tobi Olujinmi. This partnership grants Eleventh Hour the opportunity to co-develop and co-produce projects from Hill 5.14’s slate, with SPT distributing them globally.

Founded in late 2022, Hill 5.14 Media has swiftly made a name for itself with its mission to amplify diverse voices and unique stories, particularly from Black British talent. Olujinmi, a former development producer at Eleventh Hour, launched the company to create “light on a hill” content aimed at global audiences. Since its inception, Hill 5.14 has attracted top-tier writers like Phoebe Okeowo (The Power) and Bella Heesom (Sex Education) and collaborated with celebrated actors such as Weruche Opia (I May Destroy You) and Adjoa Andoh (Bridgerton), the latter also hosting the company’s podcast Discover Me.
