Lifetime is turning up the suspense with its latest thriller, Trapped in the Spotlight, premiering Saturday, February 15, at 8p/7c. Starring Monique Coleman (Greed: A Seven Deadly Sins Saga; High School Musical) and Melyssa Ford (Hunting Housewives; Love & Hip Hop Hollywood), the film also marks Coleman’s debut as an executive producer. Emmanuel Kabongo and Romaine Waite also star in this high-stakes thriller.
The story follows Neveah (Coleman), a former R&B star whose career crashed after her ex-music partner Lupita (Ford) betrayed her. Fifteen years later, both women are abducted by a deranged producer who forces them to finish their long-abandoned album—or else. Neveah and Lupita must confront their past and decide if they can trust each other enough to survive.
