Tubi has released the trailer for Content, its latest original suspense thriller, ahead of the film’s September 29 premiere.
The film stars Hailey Kilgore as Nia, a highly successful true-crime podcaster and passionate advocate for missing women. During a remote getaway, her life takes a terrifying turn when a criminally deranged listener becomes fixated on her, stalking and harassing her until she’s forced from storyteller into headline.
Directed by Coke Daniels, the film’s cast also includes Kevin Fredericks (better known as KevOnStage), Brenden Roberts, Justina Valentine, Renny, and Duane Finley.
Content is part of an ongoing creator-driven film partnership between Tubi and Kevin Hart’s Hartbeat, first announced in October 2025. That initial slate included Sundown, a supernatural thriller from digital creator Kinigra Deon, and 85 South: Dead End, a horror-comedy starring DC Young Fly, Chico Bean, and Karlous Miller of the 85 South Show.
The film arrives during a busy stretch for Kilgore. She recently wrapped her role as LaVerne “Jukebox” Thomas on Power Book III: Raising Kanan, which concluded its five-season run with a final season that premiered in August. She currently stars as firefighter Taylor Thompson on the procedural spinoff 9-1-1: Nashville, and returned to Broadway earlier this year as Eurydice in Hadestown, alongside continuing to release solo music, including her single “Dangerous Game.”
Content premieres September 29 on Tubi.
