Paramount+ has released the first teaser and a batch of first-look photos for Season 4 of Tulsa King, the hit crime dramedy starring Sylvester Stallone, ahead of its October 16 premiere.
The teaser sets the tone for what is coming. “It’s a dirty business,” says Stallone’s Dwight Manfredi. “And everyone gets a little stained.”
Season 4 finds Dwight fighting to legitimize his empire and protect his crew as corrupt politicians, dangerous new enemies and a crushing personal loss hit from every direction. Every hard-won gain comes with even harder truths about loyalty, leadership and the cost of ambition, with each move dragging Dwight deeper into the street instincts he left behind in New York and turning Tulsa into a battleground.
Gretchen Mol (Boardwalk Empire) joins the cast as a series regular for Season 4. She appears alongside returning cast members Jay Will, Martin Starr, Vincent Piazza, Annabella Sciorra, Chris Caldovino, McKenna Quigley Harrington, Frank Grillo, Mike “Cash Flo” Walden, James Russo, Kevin Pollak and Neal McDonough, with Garrett Hedlund and Dana Delany.
Behind the scenes, Terence Winter returns as head writer and executive producer, following the exit of Season 3 showrunner Dave Erickson. Winter developed the series and served as showrunner in Season 1 before stepping aside, returning as head writer in Season 2 and now returning again for Season 4. Taylor Sheridan and Stallone executive produce alongside David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Thomas Kelly and Keith Cox. The series is produced by Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios.
A writers room for Season 5 has reportedly already opened, with the show eyeing a move to New York for filming. Paramount is also developing the spinoff Frisco King, starring Samuel L. Jackson, which completed shooting earlier this summer.
Tulsa King Season 4 premieres Friday, October 16 on Cannon+.
