Lionsgate released the trailer for its upcoming thriller ‘Amber Alert,’ featuring Golden Globe winner Tyler James Williams and Golden Globe nominee Hayden Panettiere.
‘Amber Alert’ transforms an ordinary ride-share into a high-stakes game of cat and mouse. The plot centers around Jaq (Hayden Panettiere), excited for her first day at a new job, and her driver, Shane (Tyler James Williams), looking to earn extra income. Their lives take an unexpected turn when an alert about a child abduction appears on their phones, leading them to a car matching the kidnapper’s description. Fueled by the determination to stop a potential child trafficker, they embark on a pursuit that jeopardizes their own safety.

Directed by Kerry Bellessa, who also co-wrote the film with Joshua Oram, ‘Amber Alert’ also stars Saidah Arrika Ekulona, Kevin Dunn, Chris Hill, Summer Bellessa, Jasen Wade, and Brooke Thompson. The production is backed by Hungry Bull Productions, known for critically acclaimed projects like Pig starring Nicolas Cage. Producers Joseph Restaino and Tony Stopperan, alongside Summer and Kerry Bellessa of Bluefields Entertainment, bring this thrilling story to life, with Panettiere and Williams also serving as executive producers.
This film marks Hayden Panettiere’s second major project following her return to the screen in Scream VI, where she reprised her fan-favorite role as Kirby Reed. Panettiere’s career is highlighted by her performances in NBC’s Heroes and ABC’s Nashville, for which she received a Golden Globe nomination.
Tyler James Williams, who stars in the hit comedy Abbott Elementary, is no stranger to intense roles, having previously appeared in The Walking Dead as Noah. His work in Abbott Elementary and films like The United States vs. Billie Holiday and Dear White People showcases his versatility as an actor
