You can now watch all Tyler Perry content, all the time, for free.
In a significant move for both BET Media Group and Tyler Perry, the media powerhouse has launched two new free, ad-supported television (FAST) channels dedicated to Perry’s extensive catalog of comedy and drama series. The BET Tyler Perry Comedy and BET Tyler Perry Drama channels feature back-to-back episodes of popular Tyler Perry originals, marking the first time these series are available on FAST platforms.
With over 600 hours of content, viewers can now enjoy marathons and highlights from beloved shows such as ‘Sistas,’ ‘The Oval,’ ‘House of Payne,’ ‘Ruthless,’ ‘All the Queen’s Men,’ ‘Zatima,’ and ‘Assisted Living.’ The channels are accessible on major FAST platforms including Roku, Pluto TV, Plex, TCL, and Amazon’s Freevee, with additional platforms to be announced soon.
Louis Carr, President of Media Sales at BET Media Group, expressed enthusiasm about the launch, stating, “The introduction of Perry’s content to FAST channels is a momentous occasion in our partnership. We’re thrilled to provide Black audiences with a fresh avenue to enjoy Tyler Perry’s content and offer more access options for our original programming.”
This new venture comes on the heels of Perry’s extended partnership with BET, which includes a recent agreement for the renewal of several series and the addition of a new scripted show titled ‘Route 187.’ The collaboration is set to continue through 2028, promising hundreds of new episodes across various platforms.
Additionally, popular series from Perry’s past work, such as ‘Meet the Browns,’ ‘The Haves and the Have Nots,’ ‘For Better or Worse,’ and ‘Too Close to Home,’ are expected to join the FAST channels in the future.
This initiative not only expands the reach of Perry’s acclaimed programming but also reaffirms BET’s commitment to showcasing diverse narratives and providing greater accessibility to audiences.
